How to do it
- Stand with your feet about shoulder-width apart, holding a dumbbell in each hand.
- Raise the dumbbells to about head height with your elbows bent out to the sides.
- Push both dumbbells straight up over your head without leaning back.
- Lower them slowly to the starting position.
Beginner tip: Tighten your stomach and avoid leaning back or bouncing your knees.
