How to do it
- Set the bench back upright, sit against it and plant your feet flat on the floor.
- Grip the bar palms forward, a little wider than your shoulders, and hold it above and slightly in front of your head.
- Lower the bar slowly to the level of your collarbone.
- Press it back up until your arms are almost straight.
Beginner tip: Start with an empty bar and ask someone to hand it to you if you can.
