How to do it
- Stand tall or sit on a bench with back support, holding one dumbbell at shoulder height, palm facing forward.
- Put your other hand on your waist or hold something steady, and tighten your stomach.
- Press the dumbbell up over your head until your arm is straight.
- Lower it slowly back to your shoulder; finish your reps, then switch sides.
Do all reps on one side, then switch.
Beginner tip: Keep your body upright without leaning to one side.
