How to do it
- Set the bar in the rack just below shoulder height, step under it and rest it across your upper back.
- Lift the bar off the rack, step back and stand with feet about hip-width apart, looking ahead.
- Rise up onto your toes as high as you can and pause, keeping your legs straight.
- Slowly lower your heels back to the floor.
Beginner tip: Looking straight ahead helps you keep your balance.
