Equipment
- Pull-up bar
- Resistance band
How to do it
- Loop a resistance band around the middle of the pull-up bar and put one knee or foot into the loop.
- Grip the bar palms forward, a little wider than your shoulders, and hang with straight arms.
- Pull yourself up by driving your elbows down to your sides until your chin is over the bar.
- Lower yourself slowly until your arms are straight.
Beginner tip: A thicker band helps more; start thick and move to thinner bands.
