How to do it

  1. Stand tall and hold a barbell at shoulder width, palms facing forward.
  2. Curl the bar up while sliding it close to your body and moving your elbows back.
  3. Lift until the bar reaches about mid-chest.
  4. Slowly lower the bar the same way, keeping it close to your body.

Beginner tip: Keep the bar brushing your body and don't shrug your shoulders.
