How to do it
- Set the bar in a rack just below shoulder height, rest it on the front of your shoulders, fingertips on the bar and elbows high.
- Lift the bar off the rack, step back and stand with feet shoulder-width apart, toes slightly out.
- Squat straight down, keeping your chest up and elbows high.
- Push through your feet to stand back up.
Beginner tip: Keep your elbows high so the bar stays on your shoulders.
